Mark Batres is a coach of athletes, Spartan Pro, and a form high-level runner on the track and roads. Including such accolades as – 5 time all American, and a 2:19 marathon.
But his fast running did not make him an instant success at OCR – he worked as hard to learn the sport and is now one of the best in the world.
In this episode we cover:
- Why the fastest runners are not always the best at OCR
- The mindset to overcome injury – and in Mark’s case a devastating career-threatening injury.
- The value of coaching and why you should want a coach who has a coach.
- And why you should floss your teeth.
